A systemic insecticide widely used for termite control. It is a trusted solution for protecting structures from termite infestations, offering long-lasting effectiveness and a high safety profile for non-target organisms when used as directed.
Active Ingredients
Imidacloprid 30.5% SC
Target Pests
Subterranean and Drywood termites
Application/Dosage
2.1 ml per litre of water
Mode of Action
Imidacloprid, the active ingredient in Bayer Premise, belongs to the neonicotinoid class of insecticides. It disrupts the transmission of nerve impulses in termites by binding to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in their central nervous system. This results in paralysis and death of termites. Additionally, its unique action creates a non-repellent barrier, allowing termites to come into contact with the treated zone without avoiding it.
